Alors que l’on pensait que Mikko Hirvonen allait ralentit en cette fin de journée, le finlandais a finalement continué à attaquer jusqu’au bout mais ne possède qu’une très maigre avance sur ses poursuivants directs qui sont regroupés en 14s.
Avant la super-spéciale, Hirvonen mène pour 7s5 devant Ostberg, P.Solberg à 9s9, Latvala à 11s8 et Ogier à 14s8.
