ES19 : Rammen 1 (22.76km)
Dans la spéciale la plus longue de cette dernière étape, Hirvonen signe son troisième scratch consécutif. Le finlandais compte désormais 13s7 d’avance sur Ostberg et a bien profité des conditions pour augmenter son avance.
Derrière, les écarts continuent d’augmenter puisque P.Solberg est désormais à 30s4 d’Hirvonen et a perdu plus de 20s sur le finlandais dans cette première boucle à cause notamment d’un problème d’amortisseur.
Cette après-midi, la donne pourrait être différente pour un deuxième passage dans chaque spéciale.
Réactions des pilotes
Hirvonen : “Un peu plus de neige dans cette spéciale. Beaucoup de glace.”
Ostberg : “C’était bien, nous attaquons vraiment fort. Absolument aucune limite, je ne peux pas aller plus vite. Quelques erreurs, mais ce n’est pas trop mauvais.”
P.Solberg : “J’ai cassé l’amortisseur avant gauche, ce n’est pas évident à piloter.”
Ogier : “Nous pensons que le podium est toujours possible.”
Loeb : “Nous ne pouvons rien faire hormis finir. Pourquoi ce n’était pas comme ça lors du premier jour…Bonne glace et pas de neige sur la route.”
Räikkonen : “Nous essayerons de nous améliorer cette après-midi.”
Andersson : “Nous avons tapé un mur de neige. Nous essayons de trouver un bon rythme.”
